How do you make a great day chilling at the beach, even better? Why of course, by heading over to the SALT food truck and feasting on some really delicious sliders and fries. Located at Kite Beach, the long queue of hungry eaters is an indication that you are in for something spectacular.
Being a food truck, the menu choice is limited, but makes for in great taste. We stuck to the recommended Original Sliders (Wagyu beef combined with melted cheese, pickle slices…all packed in a bun) – and every bite brought a smile to our faces.
This would be my definition of cheat day, after a week slogging it out in the gym. The Original Fries were the right mix of soft and crispy and we devoured them. Our thirst was quenched by fresh lemonade (they serve 3 varieties – Original, Mint and Pink). I should have opted for the much hyped Lotus softie – but will make sure to check that out when I visit this food truck again.
A special mention to the fab service staff, always beaming and ever ready to help you. All in all, SALT made for a memorable end to a great day at the beach.
